Super easy to use, sturdy, and caught the fine gold really well. It made the whole trip even more exciting and enjoyable. Fantastic device, beats panning all day
Very user friendly and forgiving. The first time I've ever been prospecting and used this gear without any experience other than YT. I still managed to find plenty specs and flakes ✨️ 😁 I still need to buy more gear though 😉

Was a Christmas present from my parents that I put in as I had to order a bilge pump to use it while the creeks are dry. Using some pay dirt from miners den, and a custom made stand, I was able to pull out a couple little nuggets and tiny flakes. It's light weight and works great with the bilge pump

would love more info on rates of feed vs flow, leave for an hour and still maintain gold? Did get lots of little bits.
Store owner replied: Hi Rick vortex dream mat is a fluid system so does not suffer from gold migration like static systems do like expanded metal or riffles. Feed rates will depend on the material on the day and what size you screen down to. a 12 inch wide sluice can process 1 tonne per hour in the right circumstances. In a mining plant situation with all material screened to sub 2mm that value can increase. I personally like to screen all of my buckets to 8 mesh and run them all (usually 5 buckets) 5 buckets screened is the same as 15 non screened,
