Each pin pointer has its own functions and features and not all pin-pointers are suited to every purpose, for example a coin and relic pin pointer isn't necessarily suited to diving nor is a diving pin pointer suited to locating targets in a park.

• Are the options easy to remember
• Is the audio loud enough
• Does the sensitivity suit my intended purpose
• Does my pin pointer have a lost alarm
