When magnet fishing, sometimes we need a grappling hook to retrieve larger items, some kits come with the hook, some don't, so we sourced a grappling hook to add to your magnet fishing kit.
Would be a great addition to a survival kit !
This robust hook could be used for a variety of tasks, including:
- ground anchor to assist in securing items against wind forces;
- ground gouger/marker for “gridding” gold patches (instead of using a heavy/expensive length of steel chain);
- grabber & dragger of firewood in the bush (instead of using your hands & arms);
- grabber/mover of branches & logs to clear ground for gold prospecting (instead of “raking”);
- grabber/remover of spinifex bushes for gold prospecting in remote areas;
- tool for recovering fishing rods/line & lures e.g. lost in creeks/rivers – especially crocodile/shark/stinger-infested waters;
